Dinner at The Secret Shack
Tucked among the estate vineyards, this private dining hideaway seats just two to four guests. Your private chef prepares and serves a three-course dinner created just for you drawing inspiration from the season and land. Overlooking the creek, vines, and the darkening mountains, this is an entirely private evening of unhurried elegance. Beverages on consumption.

Day Two · Queen Charlotte Sound

A cruise with lunch
on the Sounds

Depart Picton aboard the Lady Anne
Your cruise for the day departs from Picton into the stillness of Queen Charlotte Sound. The first stop is Kaipupu Point Wildlife Sanctuary, a predator-free peninsula where a scenic walk through native bush is accompanied by birdsong that's hard to find anywhere else in New Zealand.

BBQ lunch at Waterfall Bay
The crew prepares a lunch of local seafood and fresh salads as you anchor in the calm of Waterfall Bay. Marlborough wine, unhurried conversation, and the kind of setting that requires little embellishment.

Double Cove & return to Picton
On the return journey, the boat stops at Double Cove marine reserve for a brief, rare encounter with the reef life below the surface, before arriving back in Picton by late afternoon.

Day Three · The Marlborough Wine Trail

among the vines

Private wine experience begins
Pick-up from your accommodation between 9:45 and 11am. Your guide shapes the day around your interests: private cellar door tastings, a blind tasting challenge, food and wine pairings or an immersive winery tour hosted by the winemakers themselves. The route draws from Marlborough's finest: Auntsfield, Cloudy Bay, Hans Herzog, FROMM, Clos Henri, Greywacke, Nautilus, Spy Valley to name a few.

Lunch at a winery restaurant
A leisurely lunch at one of the region's acclaimed winery restaurants. Time is set aside to properly eat, drink, and let the afternoon take shape. Lunch is at guests' own cost.

Return transfer
The tour concludes around 4pm with a return to your accommodation. The evening is open, whether that means room service, a quiet drink on the terrace, or an early night.
