The Suite
The Gold Coast Terrace Suite King Bed is an 855-square-foot one-bedroom suite that pairs elegant indoor living with a private outdoor terrace overlooking Chicago's exclusive Gold Coast neighborhood. The bedroom holds a plush king bed, while the separate living area centers on a one-touch fireplace, a dining table for two, and a queen-size sleeper sofa that allows the suite to accommodate up to four guests, with a wet bar stocked with a refrigerator and microwave rounding out the space. Full-length, floor-to-ceiling windows fill the suite with natural light and frame panoramic city views, and the marble bathroom includes a deep soaking tub, making the suite equally suited to relaxed stays and entertaining.
The Hotel
Waldorf Astoria Chicago occupies the first floors of a historic high-rise on Walton Street in the heart of the Gold Coast, one of the city's most exclusive shopping and residential districts. Originally designed by French-born architect Lucien Lagrange and reimagined by designers Lisa Simeone and Gina Deary, the 215-room hotel blends Parisian-inspired architecture with a bright, contemporary interior, anchored by a lobby featuring a Swarovski chandelier and herringbone wood floors. The property holds a Michelin Key and offers a no-tipping service policy, a spa spanning roughly 14,000 square feet, and intimate bars including the Peacock Lounge and the lesser-known Bernard's, giving the hotel a calm, residential character that sets it apart from Chicago's larger convention-style luxury properties.
