The Suite
At the highest point of Rosewood Sand Hill's sixteen acres sits Summit House, the resort's Presidential Villa and its most private address. Spanning 3,236 square feet across three bedrooms, the residence opens onto panoramic views of the Santa Cruz Mountains through an open-plan layout that dissolves the line between living space and landscape. A backyard terrace extends the interior outward into a garden designed as a retreat in its own right, with native plantings, secluded seating and the quiet that only comes from being set apart.
The interiors are the work of NICOLEHOLLIS, whose renovation of the villa collection completed in 2025. The palette is drawn directly from Northern California: walnut floors, hand-applied taupe plaster walls and a Calacatta Antica marble fireplace wrapped in oiled larch. Custom furnishings, lighting developed with California designer Brendan Ravenhill and commissioned works by Bay Area artists give the residence the considered feel of a private estate.
The Hotel
Rosewood Sand Hill occupies sixteen acres in Menlo Park, where California Ranch architecture, Mediterranean gardens and unbroken views of the Santa Cruz Mountains create a resort that feels considerably further from Silicon Valley than it is. The property holds 121 guest rooms and suites, every one with a private balcony or terrace overlooking the courtyard gardens, the pool or the mountains beyond.
Dining centres on Madera, the resort's signature restaurant, alongside Madera Bar, Bici Coffee, poolside service and private dining. Wellness runs through Asaya Spa, the group's integrative well-being concept, introduced here in 2025 and joined by a fitness centre, group and private training, a salon and an outdoor pool set within the gardens.
