The Singapore Grand Prix has been held in Singapore since 2008, and it was the first night race Formula 1 ever ran. Every year the circuit takes over Marina Bay and the financial district, and every evening, for one weekend the centre of the F1 calendar is a stretch of closed public road threading past the National Gallery Singapore, Marina Bay Sands, and over the Anderson Bridge.

The ‘Under the Lights’ 4-night itinerary at the 2027 Singapore Grand Prix puts you in the middle of the action, providing you with top tier access across the weekend. Three days entry to the Paddock Club along with the sport’s most devoted fans, directly above the team garages where you can feel the roar of the engines on the start/finish line.

Your hotel base is the Mandarin Oriental on Marina Bay, which sits on the inside of the circuit at Turn 6 and Turn 7, making it one of the premier hotels for race viewing, and only a 10 minute walk from the Paddock Club.

As soon as the action on the track concludes, the stages throughout the F1 Circuit Park come to life with star-studded concerts, with access to all shows included with your ticket.

In addition to the race, is the inclusion of another side of Singapore. A botanist-led tour among the orchids inside the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a few guided hours through Maxwell and Chinatown, and a reservation at three-Michelin-starred ‘Odette’.

I Three days in the Paddock Club

Access across all three days during Practice, Qualifying and Race Day, to the Paddock Club which is directly above the team garages, on the pit straight and with an exceptional vantage point of the start/finish line. Your access includes daily pit lane walks, open bars, and appearances by drivers and team principals throughout the weekend.

II Private Orchid Garden Tour

A botanist-led morning inside the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This UNESCO World Heritage site is 160 years old, with special access to the VIP section of the the National Orchid Garden, where hybrids have been named after visiting heads of state since the 1950s.

III Private Guide in Maxwell and Chinatown

A private guide through two of Singapore's best hawker centres in the heart of Chinatown: Hainanese chicken rice, claypot rice cooked over charcoal, soya sauce chicken, and kopi made the same way at the same stalls for decades.

Day 1 . Arrival

Race weekend eve

PM Arrive on Marina Bay The Mandarin Oriental is in the heart of Marina Bay, and by the time you arrive on Thursday the circuit is already visible from the upper floors. The afternoon is yours. We suggest a short walk along the promenade to see the circuit up close before racing begins, and the National Gallery is only a 15 minute walk away.

Evening Recommendation Lau Pa Sat and the satay stalls The satay stalls along Boon Tat Street in Lau Pa Sat fire up every night at sundown, and the scent of open-air grilling is sure to build an appetite quickly. This is a quintessential introduction to Singapore’s food scene with plenty of choice to suit your taste and protein preferences.

Day 2 . Practice & Paddock

Gardens, practice laps and Michelin dining

AM The Botanic Gardens Friday morning is spent at the Singapore Botanic Gardens guided by a private botanist through the National Orchid Garden and its VIP section. The gardens are a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

PM Paddock Club, practice laps In the late afternoon as the roads begin to empty of public traffic, access to the Paddock Club opens. Under the glow of floodlights, competitors run practice laps of the track to learn the route and decide on the necessary tweaks to their cars. You have a front row seat to this important pre-race preparation. While your access to the all-inclusive Paddock Club includes dining and drinks, tonight you have a reservation at Three-Michelin Star ‘Odette’.

Evening Dinner at Odette Julien Royer's three-Michelin-star kitchen is world-renowned, located in the historic Supreme Court wing of the National Gallery Singapore. The kitchen utilizes classic French techniques whilst masterfully weaving in Japanese and Southeast Asian ingredients. Odette reservations are recommended to be made at least 1-2 months in advance, but rest assured that your seat has been hand-picked for you in advance.

Day 3 . Saturday Qualifiers

Hawker stalls by day, the rush to top 10

AM Maxwell and Chinatown A private guide leads a morning food tour through Maxwell Food Centre and the Chinatown Complex Market, two of the city's best-known hawker centres within walking distance of each other. Along with architectural and historical knowledge, your guide will know how to “Chope” (reserve a table) and will ensure you don’t waste time in the wrong lines so you can focus on eating authentically. Chicken rice, charcoal claypot, soya sauce chicken, kopi.

PM Paddock Club into the evening The Paddock Club opens mid-afternoon, with track sessions and support programming running into the evening under the lights. Today racers compete in a three-part knockout session, with drivers completing a short 100km dash to the finish-line to qualify for race day. It is reported to be the toughest day on the athletes due to the high humidity and high stakes. Your vantage point in the Paddock gives you a unique perspective of the activity both before and after the sprints.

Late An evening of entertainment The concert program is stacked with internationally renowned performers, playing until 11pm. Acts for the main Padang Stage are kept under wraps until closer to race weekend. Bars in Singapore are open until well after midnight. Tomorrow the morning is at your leisure so you can take the evening into the early morning.

Day 4 . Race Day

62 laps under the lights

AM An open morning The morning is intentionally left open ahead of Race Day. Enjoy the pool overlooking the Marina Bay skyline, a spa treatment, or nothing at all. The Paddock Club opens at 3pm.

PM The Grand Prix The start of the Singapore Grand Prix, under floodlights in the evening, is the peak of the weekend. Drivers race 62 laps around a circuit that by this point will feel familiar to you, but most importantly the drivers. The energy in the Paddock is palpable at this point as the stakes reach their highest point. The service, food and drinks remain exemplary, ensuring you are catered for right through to the end of the race. Your position in the Paddock Club gives you the opportunity to raise a toast to the winners below, and feel part of the celebration.

Late The city does not stop After the race, the celebrations continue with live performances at the Padang and supporting stages. The post-race scene here is among the most active of any Grand Prix, and the evening is yours to take as far as it goes.

Day 5 . Departure

The city, resetting

AM A light last morning The race is done, the city is quiet, and breakfast on the upper floors with the circuit still visible below is a fitting way to spend your last hours. Enjoy a final walk along the promenade before the barriers come down, then a private transfer to Changi at a time set against your flight.

The first is proximity: the Mandarin Oriental sits directly on Marina Bay, within walking distance of the circuit and the race-weekend venues, so you can walk to and from the pit straight. No transfers and no road closures to negotiate. The second is the hotel itself. ‘Marina Bay Suite’ guests have access to HAUS 65 on the 21st floor, with breakfast, evening cocktails and a lounge overlooking the bay.

The Marina Bay Suite with Balcony is on a corner of the hotel, with a separate living space, floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony overlooking the bay and, during race weekend, sections of the circuit itself. The bathroom has both a rain shower and a bath. On race day the start straight runs along the waterfront below, which means some of the best sightlines of the weekend can still be seen from your own balcony, even if you dip away from the Paddock Club.

Dress & Practicalities

The Paddock Club requires smart casual attire and Odette requires smart dress. Singapore is effectively cashless with English as the official language; visa requirements vary by nationality and should be checked prior to travel.
