Indonesia: The Coastal Passage. Bali, Komodo and Five Nights Aboard Amandira.
Begin with two nights at Four Seasons Bali Jimbaran Bay before flying east to Labuan Bajo and boarding Amandira, a 52-metre private phinisi, for five nights through Komodo National Park.
Dive and snorkel among coral reefs, walk Rinca with a ranger in search of Komodo dragons, climb the ridge at Padar and stop at small islands and sand atolls along the way. With Amandira chartered entirely to you, the captain and dive master plan each day around the conditions and your interests.
Return to Bali for two final nights at Amandari in Ubud, overlooking the green Ayung River valley.
Walk through Rinca Island with a park ranger in search of wild Komodo dragons, the world's largest living lizards, which can grow to three metres. Buffalo, deer and monkeys also inhabit the island.
Climb Padar Island's ridge for views across its curved bays and volcanic hills, with Amandira anchored in the water below.
Dive or snorkel among Komodo's coral reefs, where turtles, reef sharks and large schools of fish are regularly seen. Your dive master selects sites according to currents, visibility and experience.

Four Seasons Bali Jimbaran Bay
Jimbaran, Bali · 2 Nights
Arranged like a traditional Balinese village, Four Seasons sits on the hillside above Jimbaran Bay, with thatched-roof villas, tropical gardens and views towards the fishing boats along the coast. It's an easy first stop after arriving in Bali, with the beach, spa and restaurants all close at hand.
Villa
Ocean-View Pool Villa. Approximately 190 sqm of indoor and outdoor space, with a private infinity pool, terrace, thatched ceilings and views across Jimbaran Bay.
Amandira
Komodo National Park · 5 Nights
Amandira is Aman's 52-metre, twin-masted phinisi, handcrafted from local hardwoods by Konjo boatbuilders from South Sulawesi.
Chartered entirely to you, the vessel has five cabins accommodating up to ten guests, with a crew of 14 including two private chefs, a dive master and spa therapist. Days are spent exploring Komodo's islands and reefs, returning aboard for meals on deck and evenings at anchor.

Amandari
Ubud, Bali · 2 Nights
Set above the Ayung River gorge, Amandari is surrounded by tropical gardens and the rice terraces of Ubud. Opened in 1989, the resort takes its design from a traditional Balinese village, with freestanding suites connected by stone pathways and walled gardens.
Villa
Ayung Pool Villa. Approximately 265 sqm, with an eight-metre private pool, garden, outdoor living area and sunken marble bath.
Wellness Aboard Amandira
Add massages, yoga on the sundeck and wellness-focused meals prepared by the onboard chefs, arranged around your days exploring Komodo.
More Time at Sea
Extend the Amandira charter from five to seven nights, allowing more time for diving, snorkelling and exploring the islands beyond the main Komodo route. The itinerary is planned around the season, conditions and vessel availability.
When to Travel
April to October is our preferred period for this experience, coinciding with the generally drier season around Komodo National Park.
Conditions for diving and snorkelling vary throughout the season, with currents and visibility influencing which sites are best on any given day. Amandira's sailing schedule and charter availability will determine the final dates.
Diving and Snorkelling
Komodo offers excellent diving and snorkelling, although some of its best-known sites have strong currents and are more suitable for experienced divers.
Your dive master selects locations according to conditions and ability, with calmer reefs and snorkelling options available throughout the itinerary.
